Local Grown Plant Event
When: Not Scheduled for this year
Where: Mountain Roots Orchard
We’ll be open a few select days for our annual local-grown garden starts event. Some of our perennial fruit trees, berries, and native plants will be for sale, too. More of those becoming available when we open for the season in June.
National Pollintar Week
When: June 15th-21st
Where: Mountain Roots Orchard & all over the USA
Pollinator Week is an annual celebration in support of pollinator health that was initiated and is managed by Pollinator Partnership. It is a time to raise awareness for pollinators and spread the word about what we can do to protect them. Great info on supporting pollinators can be found at www.pollinator.org
If you’d like to see firsthand how pollinator friendly spaces support our orchard, we are happy to setup a time with you.
Fall Festival
When: TBD
Where: Dorsey Warr Memorial Park ~ Main St/Hwy 95 and Miller Ave, New Meadows, ID.
Come join us and the New Meadows Community Farmers Market at the annual Fall Fest! A fun event for the whole family with crafts, games, & food!
Community Fresh Pressed Cider
When: October: Date TBD
Where: Mountain Roots Orchard
We press apples that are brought to us from around the community into a one-of-a-kind cider blend. We host one pressing as a public event and have time together! If you have a backyard apple tree, take a look at our Community Cider Project Event from 2025.
